Devtron was officially established in 1999 by founder Matthew Krinsky (Matt), building on an extensive technical career. Starting in 1993 at First National Bank, Matt honed his skills in communication networks and bank automation, later contributing to the Technology Innovations Group’s R&D department. In 1995, he relocated to Cape Town, initially focusing on Devtron on designing and installing security fences. Driven by a passion for innovation, the company soon began pioneering the integration of diverse hardware components, all of which were seamlessly managed by a robust software backbone.

Over the past few years, Devtron strategically transitioned away from basic fence work, evolving into a specialist in project management and consulting, tackling complex, real-world challenges through creative analysis and out-of-the-box thinking. This dedicated focus on R&D has fueled significant growth. Over the last five years, Devtron has developed numerous advanced applications, expanding its service portfolio to comprehensively cover agriculture, industrial operations, commercial hubs, and high-end property developments and estates.

Today, Devtron is uniquely positioned to lead future tech innovation projects, continuously seeking new collaborative opportunities and vigilantly integrating cutting-edge technology, software development, and AI applications.
